7 benefits of the Apple Cider Vinegar

I recently visited a nutritionist who advised incorporating more Apple Cider VinegarĀ into my diet…Seriously? The only time I would use vinegar would be in a salad. He explained some of the benefits to the body and man does it make a difference. ACV is made from squeezed apple juices that are put through a natural fermentation process and the benefits to the body are brilliant! Check it out:

1)Fight Diabetes

Studies have shown that ACV help control blood sugar level, which obviously protects you against Diabetes. This is done by limiting the absorption of starches in the blood. These sugars would otherwise be converted to sugar and jack up the levels throughout the body.

2)Increase Skin Health

Anything from blemishes to warts, ASV aids in regulating the pH levels in the skin. This in turn increases the effectiveness of the skin’s natural moisturisers which helps skin remain healthy. ACV can also we used for sunburn and get rip of warts!

Above the avoidance of turning starch into sugar, ACV also aims weight loss and even reduces hunger. After i have had my ACV in the morning and a cup of coffee, I usually only eat at around 2pm.

6)Cardiovascular Wellness

Even though the studies read have only been tested on rats, there was a reduction in cholesterol, blood pressure and triglyceride levels. It would be interesting to get a human study done, I would put my hand up!

7)Energy

ACV contains amino acids, a component that defends our bodies against fatigue-causing build-up of lactic acids. So instead of grabbing a Red Bull after lunch, opt for ACV mixed in water.

No BS here but i feel great after using this magical extract. I think probably the most noticeable change has been the increased ‘gut health’ and decrease of inflammation in the tummy – game changer.
